New Bike Advice Please

I've ridden fold ups for some time, Dahon / Moulton / Strida. I'm after something that will make my commute a little more fun. We live near the beach and woods, both of which I could ride through on my commute, also jumping off curbs is fun occasionally! I've been looking at the Fisher Utopia / Montare and Cannondale Badboy3. I've been out of it for a while though so any suggestions would be great. Budget is IRO £600
