Like its predecessor, the updated Louis Garneau Ventila Jersey has one very specific purpose: to keep you dry and well ventilated. This makes it ideal for days in the transitional seasons that warrant a bit more warmth than short sleeves afford when you first head out, but warm up by late morning to the point where a thermal jacket would be overkill. Its great breathability also recommend it as an outer layer over a thermal base layer for days when you don’t think the temperature will rise to match you ambitions. The new Ventila Jersey’s upgrade over the original comes courtesy of LG’s AirFit fabric. It’s knit with a Jacquard construction that allows for increased air movement and also facilitates wicking to keep you comfortable. The underarm panels, composed of AirFit Mesh, make a return for added ventilation. The pro fit cut is two sizes larger than LG’s racer fit, so it’s designed for cyclists with a generally athletic build, not the barely-there upper bodies of Euro pros. The standard complement of three rear pockets provides storage space, and the outer two are cut at an angle to facilitate access with gloved hands. The Garneau Ventila Long Sleeve Jersey is available in seven sizes ranging from X-Small to XXX-Large in the colors Black/bright yellow, Black/grey, and Ginger.
